Dear Ladies;
I hope you all survived the cold, but hang in there; SPRING is just around the corner!
I want to once again thank JoAnn Anderson and her committee for chairing the installation ceremony in January and thanks to Lisa and her staff for preparing a delicious meal. I look forward to this year and serving you in any way possible. Our February “Valentine” meeting was chaired by Debbie Skinner and the entertainment for the evening was provided by Jessica Robbins who played the bagpipes. Thank you ladies for a very enjoyable evening.
We are currently selling the 250 raffle tickets, which are $10 each. Anyone who is interested in selling tickets for this very important fund raiser, please contact me. The tickets and money must be turned in by our March meeting.
Another very important event coming up is the annual style show, which will be held on Saturday, April 5th. The fashions are provided by Gina’s from Muncie. Co-Chairs Jan Nugent, Patti Sheward and their committee have been working hard to provide a wonderful event, so please plan to attend. Tickets are $15 and the menu will be; hot chicken salad casserole, fresh fruit salad, muffins, dessert, and of course our endless supply of champagne. If you would like to reserve a table, please contact Dottie Payne or Jan Nugent.
The next two monthly meetings will be March 13th, chaired by Betty King, and April 10th chaired by Becky Arnold. I am sure they have a fun evening planned for us, so please try to attend. Maybe you can contact a member who hasn’t been here for awhile and encourage them to come. Tell them we miss their smiling faces!!
